Hi there all. Been at Keto since Jan. 11, 2015. Not that long, but I have hit my plateau and have stopped losing as fast as I did in the begining. So far, only 16 pounds lost. Due to physical limitations, I cannot move around very much. Suggestions?

I suggest you keep calm and keep doing what you are doing.

Don't stress about it. You've lost a lot of weight in a short time. Your body is changing and adapting. Be patient with it.

Welcome vanhavely. I began my journey on 23rd Jan. I think you've done really well to lose 16 lbs, though it's not uncommon in Keto. However, as I'm sure you already know, weight rarely (if ever) continues to fall away at the rapid rate of the first few days or weeks. It sounds to me as if a plateau at this stage is fairly natural and if you keep on keeping on, the numbers will begin to drop again.

This is very standard. If I was to go and pull my weight charts out, you'd see stretches where I appear to be losing no weight. When you zoom out, the whole chart is obviously going down. Weight loss comes in spurts and stalls. If you stay consistent, the long term results will be what you want. Anything less than a month is short term.

So...completely natural and keep plugging away. I can do that! Thank you for the responses.
