bike service tipping etiquette?

yesterday i had my first bike fitting (which was amazing - why did i wait so long?). the guy spent two hours with me and explained everything really well. he also pulled a new saddle and handlebars out of the bin so they were super cheap. i thought it would be gimmicky and i would feel pressured to buy a bunch of stuff (as a woman, this has been my experience at every car mechanic i've ever been to). it wasn't -- it was just great.

i'm picking up my bike tomorrow and paying my bill, and i want to tip the guy. i don't normally tip for bike service, but i often feel like i should. what is normal tipping etiquette for bike service, and is it any different for a bike fitting?

thanks!

I wouldn't think to tip for this service. You are paying good money for it already. The guy is going to get paid what he gets paid. He doesn't (probably) get paid on a per-fit basis. He is probably just an employee of the bike shop.
