Hubby's weight loss has stalled

Both me and my hubby are trying to lose weight. We can't figure out why my better half (my husband) isn't losing weight. I told him I think he's not eating enough. He currently weighs around 360 lbs. He uses a website like mfp to log his calories. He's been eating around 2000-2200 calories a day. He exercises 3-4 days a week walking 4-5 miles at a time. He's doing all this and not losing weight. I told him I think the calories he's eating is not enough. When I used a calculator to see what his RMR (resting metabolic rate) is it said around 3100. He's not eating anywhere near that number. This week I told him to eat more and see what happens. He hasn't weighed in yet to see if there's a difference.
We can't figure out how much he should be eating based on how much he's exercising. Any advice?

I'm not an expert but I like the calculators on this website http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php0

Look up scooby calculator, enter in his info and it will tell you his bmr, tdee, and a15% deficit. Than manually put the calories that the deficit says under goals and custom of mfp tab. Hope this helps.0

Suggest this, that way he can see the numbers, and get some good stats to track progress on.
Plus, as weight goes down and walking isn't enough, he could really benefit from some lifting 3 x weekly along with that walking, and this will let him easily adjust.

Shoot, rename it when you make your copy, you can use it too!0
