Meeting up with friends for some walking/playtime in the forest behind our home. Happy there's no rain!

Rest day today. Legs & feet were sore from yesterday, so was glad for the respite. Got my errands taken care of this morning so I could spend the remainder of the day at home. Been cleaning, doing laundry, prepping lunches for the week, etc. It's going to be a busy week so I wanted to get my house pulled together today.

Sherry my concern with the longer walk breaks is that it takes me a lot longer (and a lot more steps) to walk half a mile than it does to run half a mile, and I'm concerned that those extra steps are creating additional impact that my feet don't need. I'm running a 12 minute mile & walking a 17:08 minute mile, so that's an extra 5 minutes on my feet for every mile I'm walking instead of running. Of course they're lower impact steps when I'm walking, but still it's extra time on my feet. A week ago I ran 5 (of 7) miles. Yesterday I ran 6.5 of 10 miles yesterday. Next week is 11 miles so Jason will figure out how much he thinks I should bump up the actual running miles, then fill in the rest with walking/elliptical. I'd rather take shorter walk breaks and add in an extra mile on the elliptical instead of adding in longer walk breaks. I do like a long walk at the end.

Sounds like you've got a nice day planned Sherry! And I hope everyone else is doing well. Haven't heard from Donna lately so I hope she's doing okay.

I am not online much over the weekends, so I missed posting on Sunday. I worked on Sunday and didn't have a formal workout. I just ran out of time.

I weigh in over the weekends, and I had a gain for the second week in a row. Not happy about that and definitely focusing this week on having a loss!
