Hi gang!! I am leaving on a jet plane....yep that old John Denver song is playing in my ears!! I take off and head 'home' to Northern AZ tomorrow. I will be home on Tuesday evening around 6 pm AZ time (no daylight savings time in that state!). So I may not be checking in for a day or two.

Zac....keep on singing and dancing away!! Pat....WOW...new bike!! Karen...get well, try lifting a couple weights while sitting in a chair...that is a least a bit of exercise. Dee.....where are you???? Chris...welcome to the group....Karen and I usually babble...well Karen does a better job of babbling than me....my 'thought process is hit or miss'!! (Maybe it is called rambling...I ramble, and Karen babbles!! lol)

Cari....where are you??? Both Dee and Cari are MIA! Pat is off riding his bike!!!

Folks....I will catch up with you...once I recover from my over 24 hour journey!!! Stay happy and healthy!!!

Hey Ladies and gents... sorry about being MIA. It's my birthday weekend and well I needed some me time to reflect. I went out to dinner yesterday with my folks. Had shrimp and tilapia at Longhorn steakhouse. OMG, it was delish. No potato or veggies, just the protein. It felt good to go out and make a great choice and actually like the food. You know, sometimes you make a great choice and the food tastes not so delish.

I go back to work on Tuesday after being off for 6 weeks. I decided to take the extra vacation day I scheduled for this weekend. I'm actually a bit nervous to go back to work. Don't know why, but I am. Although, I am looking forward to having a routine again. It's been hard to get to the gym with all the wonderful (Hear the sarcasm) snow we've had. It is supposed to go to the upper 40's almost 50 degrees this week.... so uber excited for this.

I'm supposed to see the bariatric doc this coming Friday. My appt was for the 6th, but he was on call, and called called into surgery, so I rescheduled for this coming Friday. I'm losing 2.5-3.5 a week and although slower then I hoped for, I feel physically, mentally and emotionally 100% better. I'm making better choices, not drinking soda (big one there) and sleeping better.

I'm also finding my self-worth as a person. I know, sounds crazy, right???? I'm speaking with 2 gentlemen right now, one from Philly, and one from Cherry Hill, NJ. Both are great humans and both bring something different to the table in regards to a relationship...just waiting to see which brings out the best in me, before committing to a relationship with either. I hope not TMI for anyone!!! I know what I'm looking for and not willing to settle for any less.

Well, off to eat some dinner now. Hope everyone has a wonderful evening.

Hello all,

We are starting to come down to the wire for the Musical. We have less than two weeks until opening night... eeep! I am going to have to be careful this week. I mildly sprained my hamstring a few days ago. I wish I had a cool story of how it happened. I can't say it was a folly of youth, I can't blame it on our kick line practices (although our choreographer, aka The dark Lord of the Dance, is doing her best to break us), I have to settle for the truth and blame it on my cat haha.

Nancy, have a great trip! I hope you have an amazing time here in the states. Cari, I am glad that you are finding your self-worth.

Well, I am off to do some work while dreaming about taking a nice nap.
