Reverse Lunge with Forward Reach???

Did the second workout of Stage 2 for the first time tonight and couldn't figure out the reverse lunge with forward reach. I had trouble stepping off the box and going directly into the lunge and remembering to do the whole reach forward part. Anyone have tips for the best way to approach this one?

    Practice? Can't say I've ever had issues with this one but then I've been lunging for years! I don't think much about where my hands are, more about where my back knee is. My weights tend to find where they are supposed to be as the back knee lowers. It is more coordination than anything else..... won't take long before you can do it I'm sure xx

    I would recommend doing it without weights until you get the move down. You might even try a warmup set w/o weights and the forwaed reach. My weights on this move are light as this taxes my core not my legs. .
