90 Days of ChaLEAN Extreme – results in

I just completed the LEAN phase of ChaLEAN Extreme (CLX). Before I started, I was not really into lifting weights that much. I had tried New Rules of Lifting for Women but couldn’t really motivate myself. I chose CLX because I wanted to reap the benefits of strength training and learn proper form. Chalean Johnson is great at explaining proper lifting (go heavy or go home), and form. I have to say that the program gave me confidence in lifting, kept me interested and motivated, and I’m definitely stronger. I did the lifting circuits 3x a week, and the cardio workouts twice a week. I also tried to do the short ab workouts twice a week and the yoga (stretch) workout once a week. In addition, I walked to and from work every day (mon-fri) for a total of about 40 minutes fast paced a day. My results are not shocking but definitely there:
Weight: lost 5 1bs
Waist: lost 2 inches
Hips: lost 2 inches
Thighs: lost 1 inch each
Chest: lost 2 inches
Total inches lost: 7inches. I was in size 12 clothes but now comfortably fit into 10s and my 8s are coming soon I can tell. My body looks better to me in the mirror and my stomach is noticeably flatter. I’m now going to do the one month of LEAN for Life (combo of the 3 months), then move on to P90X.
If you’re looking for a good start to strength training, I highly recommend CLX. Totally worth the money!

That's so great! I'm just about to finish up week 2 of Push and can already see a difference in my muscle definition! I can't wait to see what my 60 day progress pics/measurements will show, let alone the final 90!
I keep reading that the Lean phase is where people start dropping the most inches and weight. Did you find this to be true? I'm being patient with the scale because I really want my focus to be fitness and losing inches, but I do keep swinging back and forth between the same 6 lbs. I just don't want to set my heart on the pounds and inches melting away in the last phase if that isn't true! lol0 -
I think I got the best results in the BURN month... maybe because it was all so new. I didn't find that LEAN really did much for me, but I have read many times it's where the change happens. I think overall it was great. I'm excited to do the LEan for Life phase because I don't feel like I'm ready to stop CLX. ;-)0

There is a 4th month option with CLX called LEAN for Life. It's a 30-day schedule of all 3 phases so a mixture of the 90 days. I started yesterday with Burn Circuit 1 and increased my weights alot from the first time I did the Burn phase. Felt good. I just purchased P90X and it's sitting there looking at me. I will do it, I just have to decide when to start. I also found a very cool looking CLX/P90X hybrid that I might do after P90X.

awesome to hear. i just finished push and starting lean today. I have had no real results yet to show...... i know i am stronger but you don't see it on me I think i got better results with burn then i did with push? now it will be interesting to see what my results will be from lean. I have lost no lbs or inches at all yet..... but yet i know i am so much stronger, stronger then i have ever been in my life. just wish it showed...0

I'm on week 4 and have lost 0.5-1" on most places but I'm actually not weighing until I'm done with Burn (I'm adding an extra week as I missed a few sessions).0 -
yes definitely stronger!!! Hang in there everyone. It's really worth it. I'm doing Lean for Life now and I can't believe how much stronger I am than when I first started 90 days ago!0

you'll love Lean for Life. Such a fantastic mix and you never know what you're gonna get. I'd do it forever... but unfortunately P90X is staring at me everytime I go to my basement gym. :-) Gearing up, as per my new ticker.0
