Finger Numbness and the Ulnar Nerve

I have been experiencing some numbness in my left hand especially the pinkie and ring fingers. I have noticed the onset particularly after my sprint set swims.
I also have had elbow pain in the past, and this has continued at a lower intensity.
Some investigations (google) reveal it could be an issue with the ulnar nerve (http://forums.usms.org/showthread.php?4797-Hand-Numbness).
I believe I have eliminated dropped elbow from my stroke, so perhaps it is something else?
I'll be looking into it abit more to prevent this from becoming more of a problem.
In the meantime I've come across these exercises that may help: http://www.livestrong.com/article/372836-ulnar-nerve-damage-exercises/
This video sees to deal with it directly: http://youtu.be/d85QKyWvrbI

Numbness in my feet led to the diagnosis of my auto immune disorder. I'm by no means saying that's what it could be - just pointing out that there are many different things that could cause a symptom like that. If the exercises don't do the job, follow up with a doctor....0

Thanks Mac. I'm keeping an eye on it, and if it doesn't resolve, will be seeing a doc about it.
Hopefully it won't come to that!

I'm hoping you're dead on & the exercises take care of it, I just don't want to see you wait too long.....0
