Need ideas for food to bring to friend's party

I'm going to be spending most of the day tomorrow at a friend's house, watching movie marathons and hanging out. She already mentioned "Pizza and popcorn" and I told her don't worry about me, I'll bring my own food.

What would you recommend for food that would travel well, and can be heated up quickly or kept in a crock pot?

Suddenly I'm at a recipe loss!

I eat this stuff with a spoon:

    Cheese balls work, too.

You could also do meat rollups - either roll deli meats in lettuce, or use the meat as the roll. Add your favorite fillings -- mayo, cream cheese, avocado, etc.

Pork rinds or cracklings. Toasted pumpkin or squash seeds tossed in butter.

Your own pizza, with cheese for a crust (could make the crust ahead of time, then make the pizza while you're there or something):

How about some bean-less chili with some cheese to sprinkle on top or some meatballs in a low carb sauce.

I think I need to try making this myself, yummy :yum:

I have started taking a shrimp cocktail tray from costco. It's a hit and a treat for me.

@mollyswatkins Just be careful of the sugars in the cocktail sauce. Some are utterly ridiculous! I go for a spicier one or make my own... You could make a LCHF friendly "spicy" one and provide it as an "option" for everyone... LOL

Meatballs or lil' smoky-type dishes would keep nice in a crockpot on warm

Pork rinds for snacking (but the calories add up fast)

Probably best to focus on an actual meal though rather than just planning on munchies.

Thanks everyone! These are some great options!

@kirkor I agree it's better not to gnaw all day, I will try to just have a "meal" (in quotes because everyone looks at my plate like I forgot something to legitimize it!) when I get hungry.

Ohhhhh man that fathead pizza is gooooood. With the ingredients I used, it came out to just under 5g C, 1g S, 10g P, and I think 7g F. Of course MFP didn't account for me using the bacon grease..

I love rolling up mini kosher pickles in ham....with or without cream cheese.

    What toppings did you choose?

I went with bacon (I think about 5 strips chopped to cover the whole pie), garlic (3 cloves), and mushrooms (1/2 cup)
