Carrington Farms Coconut Cooking Oil

I found this coconut oil ~ I think ~ at Walmart, but don't get mad at me if you go there and can't find it. As far as I know, I have never seen this BRAND oil mentioned on LCD or Keto. Please forgive me if I am wrong/mistaken.

One thing I don't like about normal coconut oil, when used for cooking, is that its a solid. Yes, I know it will melt at 76 or so, but in my house in Michigan, that may only be a couple months of the year. This oil is liquid and in a squeeze bottle. And since, in my kitchen, it has been as cold as 44 degrees (that's not a misprint and I purpose it to be that way, this is another long story) :D ~ this oil is still liquid @ 44.

I took some pics of all the labels on it, and it looks like it could be Paleo? IDK and I don't really care, because I'm not Paleo. But there may be some here that are Paleo-Keto.

How much did it cost? I don't remember, I'm sure you can find out on-line and also find out what local stores have it. Its probably more than LouAnnas. But, I do pay extra for added features. Look at the label below, it looks like it might have more MCT and is processed better than LouAnna's Coconut oil.

I hope this helps,

I know my local Wal-mart doesn't carry that particular brand, but it's nifty.

Carrington Farms makes the Costo brand of coconut oil. It is also available at WalMart Online, Amazon, Ebay.

Carrington Farms also makes regular coconut oil which I have purchased at Costco. It is just a brand. This particular product is a liquid coconut oil, aka MCT oil. They have taken out the saturated fats and have left the medium-chain triglycerides that are liquid at room temperature. So while it is derived from coconut oil it is not the same as the regular coconut oil. I have never bought it as it is pretty expensive when I've seen it. I think it is fine to use if you want to. Keto, yes, paleo, I'm not so sure about, I would lean no as it is more processed than regular coconut oil, but I would imagine there are some paleo folks who use it. I've heard it is good for smoothies.

I saw it at Walmart I think it was around $8. I've also seen a chia/flax blend made by them at Meijer. I purchased it put it in smoothies.

I just got back from Walmart a few minutes ago and I looked, it was there, and it was what you said. Which is about twice as much as LouAnna's.

I saw something else, that gave me a chuckle, I saw Crisco brand coconut oil! I guess the "big boys" in the oil world felt left out. It was organic/non-gmo to boot. And it was expensive too.
