Great post. One of the things I have been doing is logging my hunger level before eating on a scale of 1 to 5.

I have been thinking about number 6 - 'absent-minded eating' vs. 'awareness of eating'.

Even on days when I am able to easily stay within my calories, and am not fighting an urge to binge, my eating is often very absent-minded - with no awareness. very quick, too. I think those are the days that TB is around - I'm not entirely 'me' while I am eating.

Other days, I am more 'normal' (ie I experience hunger, I stop eating when I've had enough etc.). On these days TB is not around me.
