    My back is feeling a lot better today! I'm still giving it one moe day to recover before I do any form of intensive training with it, but I'm relieved it didn't last long. I'm planning on taking a nice walk with the kids to school this morning to get a lighter workout in.
    My parents are coming to watch the kids during the day so that I can get some errands and other things done. I also might very well just sit at Starbucks and read for a while too. :)

    Glad your back is better Val.

    Still crazy around here, these are my two work days so leaving in a few minutes.

    Sherry we built the house ten years ago so mostly everything is in great condition except the pool is getting older and light on ceiling broke when Mike was trying to replace light using a extension pole. The lawn mower has been used ten years also, just timing.

    We have handyman coming to fix light today, call in to pool guy, cat who got mats while Mike didn't brush him while i was gone going to groomers...it never ends! lol

    My eating is still out of control and I am just taking it one day at a time trying not to be mean with myself.

    I have a hiking date set up with friend friday and weather is good, I just have to feel better. My sinus stuff is coming back, not sure if its because i missed some nose cleanings or from eating wrong and wine. They say your immune system can be messed up by emotions so...

    Off to work.

    Great thread starter!

    Despite my stated intentions yesterday morning, my eating was pretty awful yesterday, but today I'm feeling back on solid ground. My trainer is back from his vacation and typically we weigh in on Mondays. I told him it was a bad week but that it's Monday and a fresh start and I was ready to start on a positive note, so asked if we could skip the weigh in because that would be anything but positive. He agreed way more readily than I expected, but let me know we would be weighing in next week. So my goal for next Monday is to weigh what I did last Monday.

    Marla yesterday I was pretty introspective and realized I can be pretty mean to myself too. I keep reading you never say something to yourself that you wouldn't say to a friend, so use that strategy. If your friend approached you & said she was struggling with what you're dealing with right now, what advice would you give her?

    I spent 45 minutes on the treadmill, but only 20 minutes of running & 25 minutes of walking. I walked 5, ran 10, and was going to repeat that same interval a couple more times, but my gym manager came up to talk to me while I was walking so I kept walking while we talked. When she left I ran another 10 then walked 4 and then I was out of time. Did an upper body & core workout with my trainer.
