Hey Debora, I found the one down fall to canned beets and that is the added salt. I went to Wal-Mart but they are out of beets and not sure when they will get some more. So I am going to have to try the Delmonte canned beets.

Yea, make sense the beets being canned. I'm bad and have not been watching my sodium as carefully. I still mostly do better than the under 50 person, but.... I know you changed your setting. I haven't - shame on me.

Trader Joe's has jarred beets that are pretty tasty. :)

It's okay Debora if you haven't changed your sodium settings, I only changed my down to 2100 now I'm going for 2000. Of course I do stay below that most days but there are those days that I get back up into 2400's and that is when my BP spikes.

Isy, we don't have a TJ's near me, the closes one is just over 50 miles there in Fort Worth.

Tammy, that's great that you are doing so good since it's a huge help with your blood pressure. When I look at sodium in the reports, 2400 is probably about my average and as I read once - that's still better than a lot of people. But I'll just enjoy your hard work for now. :)

Sodium is always a crazy one. And now they want us to go down to 1500mg?!! Who does that??!!
