Ate way over my TDEE..now what?

Hello all,
So my TDEE-20% ( I have 80lbs to lose) is 2277 (using scoobys most exact calorie calculator), and my TDEE is 2800....
I worked my a** off at the gym lifting like crazy 4 times last week...and last night I was sooooooooooo hungry I literally ate close to 3500 calories. Today I feel sooo stuffed.
Not sure how many calories to eat today....I'm not going to the gym and will be working from home....my BMR is 1866....was thinking of eating 1900 calories in attempt to offset the 1000 calories in excess I ate last night (thought of doing that today and tomorrow as I will be working from home)...then back to the gym wed-sun and will eat at TDEE-20%.
I guess my question is....is it OK if I play with my range like that? As long as I eat over my BMR? Especially after a day like yesterday where I ate at 3500? I am not expecting this to be a regular thing at all, but I do want to know exactly what you recommend I should do if it happens again.
Any feedback welcome!
Thanks!
Marilyn

I (and every one of us, actually) have big eating days occasionally. I usually don't do anything extraordinary to offset it (although, I'm sometimes not as hungry the next day, so I might be 100-200 under, but not much more).
Look at it this way--Your deficit is set at ~3600 calories per week, and you ate +700 on one of the days instead of -523. You're still at a weekly deficit of ~2400 if you eat around the usual 2277 for the rest of the days. Still a significant cut. I wouldn't worry about it.0 -
3500...no worries...a totally resonable refeed after a big workout week. I would say good job feeding your body and eating what feels right!0

Great refeed!
Don't be surprised if body found that unstressing, and drops some water weight!
And if your next workout feels like you can hit it harder, well, if it's supposed to be a hard day.0 -
I was happy to see this post, as I had been so good about eating at my calorie goal this month, and then while on a trip with my kid for high school, the last day I went over my TDEE by 250 calories! And then on top of it - a high sodium day! I stayed focus and ate within my calories yesterday, leaving some of them on the table with no workout. Tried to eat more but was just had that full feeling from the day before. Today, the scale showed the loss. Was so happy I didn't sabotage things! Thanks for all the info everyone!0

Wow, I can't believe I'm being congratulated for eating way over my TDEE!!! Hahahaha I had to read the comments twice because I couldn't believe it!
Thank you ladies for being so upfront and honest with me, it sure took the stress out of it all.
I'm actually not sure if there was a loss as I promised myself I wouldn't weigh myself again until 4 weeks into this way of eating. I have my start weight from last week and that's it. I find not looking at the scale to be liberating, and at the same time I'm hoping for a nice surprise once I do weigh myself in 3 more weeks. I am also waiting to wear some jeans and a nice shirt I bought. I hope I can fit nicely into them, indicating some inches lost... Crossing all my fingers over here
Thank you again!!
