Earache?

I've been making ketones without really trying (please don't hate me), and I think I'm having some mild symptoms of adaptation. Yesterday, I was feeling a bit tired and had a mild earache. This was after a pretty good workout. Took a nap, felt better, and the earache was gone.
Curious, I googled and found a couple of ketotonic earache hits. It might just be totally random and nothing to do with ketones, but I figured I'd ask:
Anybody get an earache as part of your keto flu?
Maybe some bacteria starved of sugar screaming in my ear? I just found it odd.

I got some, but it was mostly sinus related and was still really windy when I adapted (and I'm really sensitive to wind driven earaches), so I didn't notice that it was adaptation specific... I just went with fat loading, sodium loading, and ignoring calories and waited for everything to level out... LOL0

Yes, I had an ear ache along with blocked sinuses and a bit of a cough for 3 days. I only had the ear ache in my damaged ear, the other one was fine.0

Now that you mention it, I was feeling some mild sinus pressure too. Apparently, we're starving yeast of sugar, not bacteria.

Fantastic article - getting straight to the point and not waffling on. That explains why I always used to choke when I cleaned my teeth and don't do that now. I always had thick mucous in my throat, it was just a permanent thing that I can remember having since childhood. I'd only considered perhaps it was a dairy intolerance when I ever bothered to think about it, but that has made the little light bulb go on over my head, thank you (*)

I think I'm starting to dig ketones. The lack of glucose is probably clearing out a low-grade chronic sinus infection I've had for a while.
Either that or I'm getting a cold.0 -
Yeah I had some sinus-like symptoms during the first week of LCHF. The earache is from my new piercings.0

I am totally taking that in to my next appointment. My ears have felt fuzzy ever since I started thinking about low carb, it seems. I also have issues with the adrenals, and apparently that can work against it as well.0 -
Reading this thread made me realize that the choking gunk that had been living in my throat for ages isn't there anymore! Awesome! Been feeling sinus pressure though. I hope I'm starving the livin' daylights out of my fungal yeast.0

My fiance has nerve/hearing damage, but it flares worse and better at times. I hope he'll actually read this article and consider what he's doing to himself supposedly managing hypoglycemia by drinking pepsi constantly.0
