Stationary Bike

I would like to create a custom exercise using a stationary bike, but I am not sure how to do it. How would my Flex differentiate this from a regular step activity? Or should I just log the activity using the existing Fitbit exercise for bike riding?

    That's what I would do.

    ditto's.
Just have to note the start and duration time decently enough.

The problem with stationary bike though and readings for miles, in order to use the outdoor bike riding database entry - you have no wind or road resistance, and the stationary has no clue on what equivalent would be.

Hopefully it has Watts though, and with watts is good estimate of calories burned, so if it gives a value for calorie burn, manually log using that value.

But true, formula for calorie burn based on steps and distance has no relation to "steps" seen riding a bike, for one big thing it's usually half the steps since only 1 foot is seen going down.
