I came across this recipe recently and, although I have not eaten anything sweet in the past 65 days, I think I might treat myself to these next weekend...

Probably a half recipe should be enough for hubby and myself.

Does anyone else have a keto/LCHF suitable recipe for Easter treats?

    @Granny---Well, they sure do look good! I haven't had anything sweet since I started, either, but maybe...Not sure I trust myself to taste sweet and not want more.

    I was going to make a keto cheesecake while everyone was scoffing Easter eggs, but I might try these instead. They look lovely. Thanks for posting this, May.

    My kids agreed to my putting money on their steam accounts rather than having chocolates. :p I'll probably make a cheesecake.

    I flip flop on the topic of treats on Easter. I don't want to eat any, but I will have my whole family over for Easter dinner at my place, so will have to serve some. I think I'm worrying more about making the starchy scalloped potatoes than eating chocolate. ( I hope I remember to buy the potatoes, it's been so long...) I know I'll want to have some potatoes, but want to stay on my plan, so may just have a bite or two. I also make yummy saffron rice made with homemade chicken broth,onions, saffron and butter, but will have to be strong enough not to eat that. I will make all the main menu items and have others bring some of the extras like dessert for the regular folks, Easter bread and chocolate. We will make some sort of sugar free keto dessert for us, and if anybody wants to try it, they will be welcome. I am really looking forward the most to the devilled eggs though, and the ham. I am also hoping that I won't want to eat chocolate, because right after Easter we have our weigh-out for the weight loss challenge at work....and I want to win !

    This will be tough for me, because I look forward to Easter dinner probably more than Christmas dinner....yikes ! Send me some strength.....I don't even want the low carb sugar free versions of treats to be like "gateway" foods to further caloric and potentially higher carb intake.......Yes, May those do look delicious, but I'm scared. Give me strength.

    Those might be worth making, boyfriend is insisting on the cadbury cream eggs for easter, and it's my birthday too, so these may be a good sub.

    Phew I am so thankful we do not have family and have to deal with all of this food planning.

    These are sitting on my pinterest. I haven't tried them yet, but they'd fit your category:

    @Kitnthecat Yeah, it must be spelled ‘devilled’. I type multiple-reply answers in Word then paste into MFP and Word is happy with it. I wish you strength for your preparations and family dinner. It could be that you’ll take a mouthful and not even like those foods any more and I really hope that’s the case! I’m the same in being a bit afraid to taste ‘gateway foods’ and I’m pretty sure I’m going to leave the sweetener out of those eggs. The coconut should be sweet enough for my current palatte.

    @totaloblivia and @itcphotog You’re welcome <3

    @sweetteadrinker2 Oh wow, I used to *love* those cream eggs. Couldn’t resist them from the first day to the last that they were available in the supermarkets. Everyone else said they couldn’t eat them because they were too sweet but they were heaven to me!!! I think they’d literally make me sick now :D

    @shadesofidaho Me too. We’ll have youngest son and grandson here for the weekend, but they’re LCHF which is totally awesome! High carb son and family will be away.

    @JPW1990 Oh, fantastic. Thank you! I just bought some silicone cupcake moulds a few days ago squee!
