Marla - you're going to need a nice long break when all this is over! I've been the drama queen in our house recently, so I'm glad I don't have a hubby who adds to it. But hopefully the cleaning and pictures go well for you...without anymore drama!

Sherry - glad that thread starter encouraged you! I was struggling with a lot of self-defeating talk and mopiness and that quote out me back on track. :). Glad that last part of your run was so successful!

Well, I had a blast watching Les Mis at the dinner theater. I had a large meal, but it was a late lunch so I ended up skipping dinner. The show was also very long, so I didn't get to go to the festival with my parents and kids...which I found disappointing. I also did not get very many steps in...since I didn't get my workouts in and sat and watched a show for four hours. By the end of the day I had a headache, probably from lack of sleep. So I was asleep by 9:30 which made this the first morning I woke up at 5am and didn't feel exhausted. :). I'm ready to get a decent run in...for the first time since my surgery I'm hoping to break 5 miles! I have church today, and then going to get my leg day in tonight after the kids are in bed!

This week is spring break so I should have a few days where I can sleep in. :)

    Have a great Sunday everyone!

April, you're doing great! Personally, I feel when I eat fewer carbs, I feel better (at least til I need a good carb refeed, which isn't often). Hope those inserts help with your plantar fasciitis.

val, good for you getting some good sleep, hope the headache is gone.

Well, it was gray skies all day today which kept the temp nice for running. In addition, I dressed differently: no backpack, no 2nd hoodie around my waist, no fleece pants--just t-shirt, sweatpants, light jacket and my new running belt (for keys, i.d., etc), in 71 degrees. Ran no-nonsense 5 mi down to the marina, turned and ran a shorter 4mi route home...so 9mi with no stops to stare at the sea or to have a juice, just a few short walking & water breaks and one break to blow my nose. It was great. DH went to the gym, but not before father-in-law requested the kids come over...so I'm at home alone!! Yay! DH will pick kids up after gym (it's near FIL's place), so I'm free free FREE! Gonna shower up and relax! Kids will help put laundry away when they get home, and that's it...nice ez Sunday. :D

Well this thread starter was a good one for me. Two weeks ago I struggled with how much slower than I was with everyone else in the running group, and last night after downloading my Garmin info from my run I was discouraged at how slow my long run was compared to where I was a year ago. But getting discouraged isn't helping anything so I just need to STFU.

I'm sick today. Running a low grade fever, and have taken 3 naps. I made decent progress on my to do list for the day though and just have a few small things left I need to get done.

April I bought a foot roller from Target and have been using that 2-3 times a day - it's really helping my plantars fasciitis. It's a little gray plastic thing with small knobs and I just spend a couple of minutes with it.

Took my grocery list & bags to the market to prep for a healthy week...but my wallet was home in the diaper bag. Womp womp. Dug up a turkey chili from the freezer---thanks last month me. Stayed home today and packed, one room down.

Sherry, no better feeling than Home Alone!!!!!
