Atkins is basically low carb and high fat. Not many vegetarians here. The diet is fat and protein heavy. Hard to do on veggies alone. Sorry to be no help, but didn't want you to feel you were being ignored.

aha..she's not ignored, and since the KEY to Adkin s and low carb is FATS..then where you get your protein is secondary. Actually in 2 of the low carb groups here BOTH are always promoting MEAT 24/7..and dissing, yes, actually knocking vegetables…sad, and its the moderators doing it!

I changed to plant based protein totally 2 months ago.. first began low carb with some meat Feb 1, lost 26 so far in 5 months. My two key protein sources are eggs and hempseed protein..both as hulled seeds and Warrior Force very pure hemp seed + brown rive powder.

I eat a ton of higher protein vegetable, LOTS of butter, some coconut oil, nuts, and just started learning to cook more real foods..like a crustless quiche, or cheesy pizza crust made from cauliflower, bone broth, lots of soft cheeses. SO yos it can be done. and I am HAPPY to find more to talk with as I dont get much love from the meat eaters. ( I ate some, love Tbone steak 1x a year, ut have health issues with my kidney, and all medical data shows plant based is better for me than lots of oxidative waste in met.
It's a choice, and I am pretty happy with hempseed.
