Tracking calories while traveling

I'm going to be travelling for work for the next couple of months. Now I'm getting kind of nervous about it because I want to keep up on my exercising and food tracking. Right now I'm working on finding my TDEE and spending some time at maintenance. So at least I don't need to be restricting during that time, but I wonder what people do when they are travelling? I mean a couple days or a week is no big deal, but I will be travelling for about six weeks and then we are moving our household across the country.

I wasn't gone as long as you but I still tracked each day. Just made it a habit. Kept me on track and I didn't gain0

I'd very loosely try tracking - just ballpark and best guestimates - but since you're trying to eat at around maintenance for awhile, it's happening at a great time! I wouldn't stress about it too much and just be mindful about your eating and be really flexible in your workouts.0

Yeah, I'm just worried about trying to track while having to eat out a lot. On the positive side I can do a lot of bodyweight strength work and jogging.0

If a certain area with certain types of food you know you'll be eating, start looking up those types of foods and serving sizes, and see if you are good at estimating the weight/quantity that is given.
Eating out is rough estimates anyway, local restaurants even more so, but if you have developed any sense of size (I don't), you can hit ballparks.
Those workouts will at least know what to do with surplus calories if that happens.
A good workout before such surplus where the body will use the food for repair is always better than attempting a good workout after a surplus hoping to minimize the damage.0
