    My plan is to go to the gym today. I passed the neighborhood falafel place again yesterday and I want a falafel (which I've sworn I can't have until I've gone to the gym). Incentive is working. I'll miss running today :( but hey...it's falafel!

    Love it! I have a fancy great smelling bath gel that I'm only allowed to use on days I workout... So I haven't used it much lately. Trying to just take walks during the day so I can get more sleep.

    Went high protein shopping last night and it was very different.

    Okay April, get out there and earn that bath gel! lol! Enjoy your protein. Our favorites in rotation are chicken breasts (of course), turkey breast for roasting, salmon, eggs, eggs, eggs, oh, and eggs, and Greek yogurt (which is just yogurt here, haha). I also sometimes keep tuna and canned sardines on hand when I need some extra protein.

    I did it, I earned falafel today! I went to the gym and it felt great. I only did front, so I *have* to go back to do my back. Since I had already planned to make a thick meat sauce & spaghetti tonight (it turned out great), I'll have to raincheck the falafel, which is perfect for me...might have it on the way home from a long run someday (nothing says "health nut" like ending a run right outside of a junkfood joint! haha!! I've done my leg stretches waiting outside of a grill joint for souvlaki or cheeseburger or crepe more times than I can remember!) Anyway, also ran back from the gym & at the park a little, which is not very far, but at least burned a few more calories I guess. Well, you guys know the logistics i sometimes have to go through...today I had to leave our locker lock at the gym's front desk for DH who was on his way to the gym but I had to go in order to have time to run before tutor pickup. I was going to meet him and give it to him, but I realized it'd be better to just leave it at the front desk, so I could get my run in and he wouldn't have to come out of his way so he could get straight to his workout. Might need to buy another lock, haha.

    Pics done now just have to keep house perfect until it sells...lol :D

    I missed Nia class this morning I wanted to go to, bad sleep night again. Too much on my mind.

    Just doing short walk today, rain coming soon and 20 mph winds. Going to walk in a area more protected from wind.

    Yay Marla!!! That has to be a load off of your mind, to get the pics done! Hopefully it'll help you sleep tonight. I think the best I ever slept was in a "show ready" house, after all of our crap had been shipped overseas (lol!).

    I love the incentive idea, April & Sherry! I need to come up with something (non-food) that I can treat myself to on the days when I eat well. My workouts are pretty structured so I don't worry about getting those in but eating continues to be a battle.

    My trainer weighed me in last night for the first time in 2 weeks. Last week I asked him if we could skip it since I ate horribly while he was out of town. I was just about back down to where I had been when the weekend rolled around... and I ate all the food in the house. I warned him it was going to be ugly, and somehow he never believes me. We're now attempting a "one day at a time" approach. He made me promise to eat well today, and even made me shake on it. So far, so good.

    Got out for a walk with a friend at lunch. Have been waking up at 3:00 every morning so I'm overly tired, and I've had a headache all day. It's 50F and sunny so we walked outside, and the fresh air was great.
