Does Music Help You When You are Working Out?

I have always enjoyed music and often times had my ipod with me when I was at the gym. It helped get me through my tough workouts and kept my mind off of others working out as well. You know when you hear that song that you just love and you get an extra burst of energy? Yeah, that is me too. It would make me push just a little harder to reach a new level. What does it do for you?

    Totally agree!! I have a playlist labeled as workout music!

    I have a playlist for 'walking', and for calm music when I am stressed out!!

    Music really does allow you to take your mind off what may have gone on during your day and puts you in a totally different place. I will be on my walks with my pup and have my ear buds in and start singing while I am walking. Hope nobody can hear me. Lol

    When I am cleaning the place at home, I blast the music and sing....really scares my cats to death...not the music....my singing!!! LOL

    My kids are like mom please stop singing when a good song comes on. They do it while smiling. I know they love it lol.
