Looking for supportive low carb friends

Would love to have more low carb friends. I was using MFP search but LCHF people are like needles in haystacks. I'm repairing my thyroid and found that low carb helps me a ton.

Well said Granny May! yep. Welcome. I can honestly say without reservation, this group is the most welcoming, respectful and open minded group I've ever been priviledged to be part of! Come on in.0 -

Hi. I am a long time low carber and mostly a lurker on forums. I'm 46, hysterectomy. I walk almost every day but no other formal exercise. I really want to lift weights but I am always an excuse away from it.
I always keep carbs low but wobble between LCHF and OKL macros. Not that it matters much to me...I am not a hit the macro on the head type anyway. Right now I am losing slowly but fairly steadily and I'm ok with that. I weigh every day (OMG, NOOOOOOOO) and use the Libra app to trend my progress.
I have been/am a binger and try very hard to keep that in control. I have been allowing myself to eat over calories (and even hunger) as long as I stay low carb and that's been working for me.
Sorry for the long post....just trying to 'splain things.0 -
If I'm gonna be a needle, can I be one of these?

I am "newish" here myself, but can say this amazing group draws you in just like family and encourages you at every step! I'm proud to be a "needle" in this haystack too!0
