Sherry - Aorry you had a rough day!
Marla - Yeah, easy to clean is pretty much. requirement for me right now.
Didn't really count cLories yesterday. It was a splurge day for me. But I didn't binge on anything. I had normal food during the day that I always eat. For dinner I had. couple servings of bbq meat and beans, and then one piece of birthday cake with ice cream. It was fun, I enjoyed myself, and so I look at that as success!I also did thirty minute run as well.
Today I plan to swim and do my lower body weight lifting. I didn't get up for my bike ride, I was up late last night and needed sleep. But I'm pretty sore so I think my body needed to recover!
Hubby is taking kids camping, I'm stahing back to watch the little guy I babysit every day. I'm watching him over night for them today. So not a total break, but definitely a big one having only one kid instead of 3-4.
Have a great day!0 -
Enjoy your break-ish, val.
Well, after yesterday's disaster, DH said he'd pick the kids up from the tutor. YAY! That meant that once I dropped them off ~2:30, I was freeeeee. He also might pick them up tomorrow too, so I was actually faced with a nice dilemma of what to do today vs. tomorrow. I chose to do a nice long, worry-free, time-constraint-free run and tomorrow I'll probably do a little running and the gym. So today I ran down to the sea from the tutor neighborhood and then ran all the way back to our home neighborhood. Ended up being exactly 10 miles. I had a very tight calf for the first few miles and it took several stops to stretch before it finally turned loose, then I had to stop to loosen shoe laces as I think my feet were swelling, then I had to take a walk break to hydrate (which was probably gonna help the feet swelling too). So, more breaks than I'd like, but the run was good and I finished strong and happy.
Hope everyone's having a good one!0
