Binges-some more thoughts

In relation to my other thoughts posted here related to binge amount I wanted to add some thoughts on binge food...I just weighed some strawberries and was surprised how many I get for my calorie "bucks"...and I was thinking and even regretting why I spent my 3500 extra binge calories from yesterday only on things like ice cream, quest bars, puddings etc...what if I had spent at least some on delicious fruits? Or greek yoghurt? How much more food would I have had from the calories!! So maybe it would be worth to try to change the foods I binge in addition to trying to stop my binges at a lower calorie level.....what are your opinions? What are your experiences?

I've thought about that too...why do I go for foods that just taste good, but aren't that healthy? Sometimes I do start out with something rather innocuous, but it's like that isn't cutting it so I go on to my binge foods. I guess it's because I'm not trying to satisfy actual hunger (healthy foods would do that)...I'm trying to calm certain emotions.0
