    Thanks everyone! I will cook with this batch and share it with the dogs, then try chicken next! I especially don't mind the idea of a shorter cooking time.

    So you two are drinking it undiluted?

    Ours (beef broth, made just with water, no roasting first) is very bland, and as my husband put it, smells like wet dog. Did my batch go bad? Should I toss it?

    I just remove the bones and drink it from a mug. I usually add some italian herbs, maybe a little salt and some black pepper.
