Does anyone use FitnessBlender workouts? For anyone that doesn't know they are free workout's on fitnessblender.com and on youtube, and have workouts and levels to suit everyone!

If you've used them before, have you used any of their plans/programs? If so which ones and what did you think of it?

I started off with their free 5 day exercise challenge for busy people and loved it. From their, I just did random videos as I felt like it and then started their 4 week workout program for busy people. I got about half way through it before stopping because of work/time issues. I was out of exercise a while so to ease myself back into it I started their 4 week reach program and loved it! Really helped me get back some of my flexibility and banished my back pain! I'm starting their 4 week booty boot camp on Monday and pairing that with a mix of their arms and core videos on the other 3 days of the week and then taking one day to do yoga and stretching.

I'd love to hear feedback off anyone that has already completed this program, or even any of their other ones! I like having structure and I love that they make all their workouts free so I have no issue paying a really reasonable price for one of their programs, and would love to hear reviews of their other plans because I have no doubt I'll purchase another one after I'm done this one!

If you don't use fitnessblender, what is your routine? Do you plan your own workouts? Do you follow another fitness plan/program, dvd, or book?

FitnessBlender sounds interesting. It's great that you've found something you enjoy - I think that's the most important thing. I've only recently heard of it through another pal on here. I've never tried it or any online videos . . . I'm too lazy to go to YouTube on my TV - typing on the remote is a real challenge for me LOL.

I just bought a strength program called Body Beast on DVD (only on Day 2) and my plan is to use that 3-4 days a week. I was doing strength one day a week only, and I was feeling frustrated with how much time it was taking to plan a program. I run 4 days a week as well. I have yoga DVDs I was using regularly before I was running so much, but now I can't motivate myself to take time for yoga. But I wish I would.

I set my own program up a month at a time. I find I do best if I know exactly what I'm going to be doing each day. I do it up in Word as a table/calendar, print it, and put it on my kitchen table. My husband looks at it every day and it helps me to stay accountable. I've just finished 20 weeks with only missed one workout.

I need to plan my workouts like you, Rachelle. I tend to be a whatever I feel like that day kind of person. I'm impressed!!!

That sounds impressive! I must look up Body Beast, strength exercises are my fav! I hate cardio, but I know it's good for me, so that's why I love fitnessblender so much! They do lots of HIIT workouts which is the only type of cardio I can find bearable!

I usually find a program to follow instead of making my own. I tend to neglect certain body areas that I find hard to work on (upper body/arms mostly, and that's where I need the most work!). Before using fitnessblender I just followed Blogilates Monthly Calender. But with the program I'm using now it's only for lower body so it's only 3 days a week, so I'm semi-planning my workouts. I'm using a mix of other fitnessblender workouts, blogilates and ballet beautiful and I'm dedicating at least one full workout day to just arms! (it's more than what I'm used to!).

Ha, I can relate. I just did chest/tris on day 1 and shoulders on the second workout (45 minutes dedicated just to shoulders!). I had to pull out my little 2.5 lb weights for some of it, and use no weight for others. It was tough to realize I was so weak lol. I was sooo sore after the first workout; my triceps were painful to touch, I felt bruised. But the second one was better. I'm enjoying it so far. This program is aimed at guys, and is not very entertaining, but it wasn't overly expensive - about $40 US I think.

My husband loves P90X2 DVDs and has been doing that program for years. It's tough, but a mix of cardio and strength with yoga and stretching thrown in. The guy on that one is much funnier than the guy in mine.

Sounds like a good plan if it leaves you feeling like that!

I've looked at the p90 programs before and I just don't like the set up and the amount of cardio involved and the screaming instructor (from the advertisements I've seen).

We'll see. I'm hurting after leg day.

I didn't like the amount of cardio in P90X either. But the instructor jokes the whole way through and is quite funny, I don't think I've ever noticed him screaming. The instructor in mine is a stereotypical meathead. He's only made me laugh once. I wish he were funnier.

    Body Beast sounds great!

Today I am wondering what I got myself into. It hurts to sit, stand, walk ... Lol. I feel like my body might not match my brain's ambitions.
