My Food Diary Notes (couple of excerpts)

For anyone who is struggling to up their calories. My struggle was more physiological one than a emotional one but still a struggle. I felt stuffed a lot... been fun to look back at my notes to myself and see how far I've come.
- March 1, 2015: "Trying to at least get a minimum of 1,700 calories day now and after having been on 1200-1400 for a long time, it's been amazing difficult to adjust to the increase. Some days it's okay, other days I am really far away from it. Today was one of those days... and I ended up adding a dinner around 8pm of 450calories, or I would have only eaten 1,100 for the day. Guess it will just take time to figure out how to get healthy calories in. So strange to have this problem..."
- March 8, 2015: "I did not hit my goal of 1950 today. One day at a time with increasing my calories. I did well the previous two days. I have this problem where I am not eating enough early in the day, then I have to try to eat 800-1,000 calories from 7pm-10pm and I just get stuffed and can't eat anymore. Need to make sure to eat more calories earlier in the day!"
- March 13, 2014 (attempt 2200-2400): just a few short notes about protein shakes and remembering to drink them
- April 3, 2014: "Geez... guess hitting 3,000 calories is easier than I thought it would be. Finished the day at 3,059. Went to go eat some more at 10pm until I saw I was already over my calories."

This is so great to be able to go back and see how you felt along the way...and to see how far you've come. It's so important to journal for these reasons! Awesome!!0
