No im dying.......sweet Jesus! Did my first week day one of c25k alittle while ago. That was what was going thru my mind the whole time! It didnt matter what music I had blasted in my ear, didnt hear it! The only thing that hurt on me was where my right leg meets my torso. This may keep me from being able to do this. Does anyone know what this could be and what I can do to stop it?? It's not from jogging because Ive had it before and eventually it goes away. Very painful. It's in the crease next to my hooha. Lol. Im going to be really upset if I have to stop before I even get started good :((

On the contrary. You were dying before, now you are living and doing what your body was meant to be doing!

Did you stretch before running? Maybe try stretching out your hip flexors/groin etc before your next run, but if its something that's been bothering you for a while I would recommend getting checked out by a doctor.

after my 5 min warm up I pause the program and do stretching for my hip flexors calves groins and hamstrings then I start the program again and do the running and then stretch really well after I am done
look up yoga for runners this really helps

    :ohwell:

Sounds like tight groin muscles. I used to get them riding horses. I agree with the doing 5 minutes then stretching. You CAN do this. I'm doing this and I have no ACL and a torn Meniscus in my right knee. And I'm 40 lbs overweight.

I've had this, or at least what this sounds like. Stretch, use ice, and don't push the workout too hard as you get it to calm down. Not only do you not want to risk further hurting that muscle, you also don't want to train yourself to run "funny" to accommodate the pain and accidentally injure yourself elsewhere. If stretching and ice, in addition to warm-ups and gentle workouts, don't change anything for 1-2 weeks you should probably stop by the doctor's office just to make sure that all is ok. Hang in there! It will get better, I swear.

I'd say groin as well (lol @hooha), go on you tube & search stretches for runners or for the groin specifically, give that a try. But if you don't see an improvement in a few days speak to your doctor. And you didn't die! you made it. its only going to get better from here.

I'm not a doctor, but I'm guessing Psoas?

I'd also like to suggest strength work for your hip flexors: Squats, side planks and bridges.
