    Hey all! Hope people are feeling better from colds and sinus issues!

    Yesterday was a good day. The morning was stressful. Just one of those Murphy's law things. No lanes available when I went to swim, people refusing to share their space, forgetting things...so my your long swim was only 40 minutes. But it's still better than nothing. I also got my long bike ride in and that was wonderful! I didn't get my weight lifting in, as we spent time with my brother in law instead. But today he's going on a ride along with my hubby so Ill have the house to myself tonight. I'll get it done then instead.
    I went over my calories a little bit yesterday, but it was a good day and I didn't binge. Today is a new day to start fresh, without family members around to mess with my schedule. I love seeing family, but having my routine messed up messes with everything else. :)

    Marla, hop ur feeling better.

    I'm still under this cold and brain feeling a little scrambled. Ugh. Did have friends over yesterday, which was nice because the kids played and my friend and I chatted and I never even had to get out of my jammies! Lol! I also overate yesterday, but it was mostly fish and salad and fruit. It's just that I'll always be over on days I don't run anyway, because my goal is so aggressive right now.

    Today ran 9 sniffly miles, but it was a nice because it's a semi-holiday here before Easter so low traffic today. Ran past the gym and saw that they've moved all the cardio equip to the new lower level which will make the weights section so much more spacious I hope, because it was like a closet before. Still 10 days til the reopen.

    Scanned everyone's posts the past few days. Sorry about colds & the blues & sinus & just feeling mental.

    It's been a week. Wednesday I went home early from work not feeling well. Thursday I attended an all day continuing education workshop my employer sent me to. It was interesting but was many hours of sitting still & having to really focus. After rough workouts last night & this morning because of my leg Jason (trainer) told me to go see Jeff (chiropractor). He came back to the office at 5:45 on a Friday to get me in (he's one of the high school track coaches so he had left early for that). I've got 2 issues - my IT band & some smaller gluteal muscle isn't "firing" which causes my hamstring to over engage. He stretched me out, adjusted my low back, and did an extremely painful treatment on my IT band to break up the knot/adhesions. I've got a pretty awesome bruise already. He told me to keep icing, stretching & foam rolling the IT band & gave me a few exercises to do to correct the gluteal issue. He said it will take a couple weeks & I'm doing the exercises twice a day but it only takes a few minutes (12-15 reps on each leg of 3 exercises).

    Ate horribly most of the week. Did better yesterday & today so at least I'm going into the weekend on a positive note.
