Suggestions/support for frustration?

So after hoecradle;s wonderful post about 40lbs in 3 months, I can't help but feel (almost) like giving up.
I've been diligent. Always under 15net grams/day. Until my hootenany at Easter, ketostix were always showing "heavy" ketones. Ok fair enough, that knocked me out of ketosis. I can accept that and ketostix are starting to register again.
But I mean come on!
Here's my time line
March 2nd - 225lbs - Started on protein shakes and extremely low calorie, (before I knew about keto)
March 11th - 221lbs - (lost 4lbs/9days) found keto and started (and felt better).
March 21st - 214lbs - (lost 7lbs/10days)
March 31st - 214lbs - (lost 0lbs/10days)
April 5th - Easter - abandon ship!
April 10th - 214lbs - (lost 0lbs/10days)
Gah!!! I've been at this weight for at least 3 weeks! What gives! I'm so frustrated. I'm only a month or so in. I shouldn't be stalling yet should I? (I'm 5'4" woman so theorhetically shouldn't be close to goal weight yet)
The only thing I can figure is that the first week or so of Keto, I didn't eat dairy. After March 21st I started eating cheese. Some days, a lot of cheese. Could that be it?
I did see some minor blips below 214 some mornings but the days before that I basically didn't drink much water, so I kinda throw out that data.
Whaddaya think?

I personally don't expect to loose when I cheat. The body takes 3 days to get to ketosis after cheat days. 3 weeks to start losing again. The way I see it, I am best not cheating. However since we are humans this things happen. I have been stuck on 190 since beginning of Feb after losing 24lbs. I want this woe to be my lifestyle so my focus now is to learn not to cheat cos when I do i don't lose
Well done on losing a stone. Great result in one month. We can do this0 -
According to your loss graph you have lost 13 lbs in 6 weeks... Over 2 lbs per week...in the middle of that you blow it up.... What exactly are you asking here? What are your expectations?0

I think, that like me, you need to relax. It's only been three weeks. There are more variables than just your carb count involved as well. What kind of deficit you are maintaining, how much/often you exercise, how well you log. I don't really think your one Easter hootenanny (forgot how much I love that word) will keep you from losing for another three weeks. This is not an exact science and every body is different. You have seen results, you FEEL better...so stick with that. Trust the process. Now...if I can just get myself to remember this too.....0

I experienced something similar. I lost about 5 lbs then I stopped. What's weird is that I stopped when I cut my calories back. Generally now I eat when I am hungry but idk. It is frustrating.0

Over 2lbs per week is phenomenal! Look at it that way. It will take you time to get back into the groove after the cheat. And sometimes, after a bit the body will take a pause to reevaluate. Remember, the body's job is to keep you in the status quo. When you upset that, it's going to go "what the WHAT?!?!?!"
Now IamUndrCns is right. After a couple more weeks, you'll need to investigate things to see what is going on. Logging errors (carb or protein creep)? Too many or too little calories? Too much or too little exercise? How are you measurements looking? And yes, some people are stalled by dairy.
I haven't lost an ounce since last Wednesday. In fact, my trifflin' @ss has gained 2.6lb and bounced around between 165 and 167 since then. It will probably do this for a week or 2 more. Maybe even 3 weeks, before I finally get another loss on the scale. And then it will start this exasperating cycle all over again. But every bounce up is not as far up. And the lows get lower slowly. And my inches, which I measure every 2 weeks, are going down. Meanwhile, while my body keeps doing this maddening BS, I'm eating healthy and staying fit. The scale isn't doing it on my timetable...but then, I have 16lb to lose to goal, and the body fights me like a witch. But every day really is a step closer.
Hang in there.0 -

Exactly what my body does. Lost weight for the first few weeks. Then stall for 3 weeks. Then a loss. Then a stall where I bounce back and forth between a couple of pounds. But then my clothes start feeling like they're falling off. Though to be fair I'm generally convinced my scale is lying. I might have reverse body dysmorphia.
Side note: This is the first I'm hearing of this "it takes three weeks to lose weight after a cheat" business. Anyone have some scientific evidence of this or is it just anecdotal?

Are you doing this for some short-term goal, or are you doing it for long-term benefits?
I freak out when I lose too fast. I want to savor this lifestyle.
I've been up and down a few pounds for the last few weeks. I figure it must be due to the massive muscles I'm gaining. And it may help to remember that lower carbs doesn't lower weight. It'll potentially help repair your metabolism if your insulin is too high, and it'll potentially reduce hunger. It's not a magic fat-burning mode that some people think it is. It can be a better way to eat.0 -
I will not lose weight from the day I ovulate to a few days after my TOM. I don't know if anyone else has had this issue but I wanted to toss out this bit of TMI in case it helps you at all.
I've officially told everything now, haven't I.0 -

ok ok ok! I get it.
You folks are wonderful. Thank you for your patience. Those that have been around a while have probably seen similar posts over and over.
Too many great things to quote here.
In my defense... my mfp graph is a little skewed. The timeline I wrote is more accurate. So my frustration comes from a super fast loss and then nothing for 3 weeks. Ok, two weeks because this last week was spent just getting back on track after the side track of Easter. It was on purpose. I didn't fall off. It was a conscious decision. But seeing now, how long it takes to get back into things, I don't think I'll do it again. The in-laws will just have to accept it.
@m_puppy I did have my TOM during the first two weeks where there was no loss, so that's something to consider. Thanks for that.
@wabmester thanks for mentioning about the low carbs not equating to faster fat loss. Somehow I didn't really get this. The big part of me doesn't believe it, but the logical side of me does. I do have a short-term goal (wedding this summer) but because of how I FEEL doing this, I can definitely see me sticking with it long term. I don't want to go back to the maniacal carb addict I was before. I suppose seeing all the stories about super fast loss got me a little starry eyed. But in the end it is an organic process I'll just have to trust and wait.
Thank you all. I do appreciate this.
Is this not the best group of people ever?

This group really is the best!
I never pay attention to shark week weights, I just log them so the trends are there to remind me. I weigh just about every morning and if I don't like the number, I trust that my body is taking care of something in a different department that day.
Also my weight "bounces" when I'm dehydrated one day and then am thirsty enough to drink the Nile the next.0
