The author's hipster tone is driving me nuts, but I'm liking the primer on broscience.
I've been mostly avoiding high intensity exercise because it has knocked me on my butt every time I try. Basically, it sounds like the suggested approach is to reload your glycogen reserves after (or even during) exercise.
This is the same thing Peter Attia does, and he goes a little farther by calculating his glycogen reserve size:

This author punts on ketosis, but Attia says he can maintain ketosis even after eating 300g+ of carbs.0
