I found this recipe a while back and fell in love I added 2 ingredients and will let you know which ones :) I love this stuff and so does my 17 month old son I have 1/2 cup of this granola with 1/2 cup of instant oats every morning.

3 cups rolled oats‎
1 cup slivered almonds (I use whole)
1 cup pumpkin seeds
¾ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
¼ cup flax seed (golden or toasted)
¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons sucanat (I use splenda brown sugar)
¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons maple syrup ( I use a sugar free homemade syrup I will also post that recipe)
¼ cup vegetable oil (sometimes I use coconut oil, liquid form)
¾ teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins or cranberries (I don't add this as of the sugar content)
I also add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon or ginger and 2 tbsp of wheat germ
Instructions
Preheat oven to 250° F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats (not wax paper).
In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts/seeds, shredded coconut and flax.
In a separate bowl, combine maple syrup, sucanat (or brown sugar) oil, and salt also cinnamon and wheat germ.
Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredient bowl and mix well until all is evenly coated.
Pour onto lined pans and cook for 50 minutes stirring every 15-20 minutes to achieve an even color.
Remove from oven and allow granola to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
