I purchased some running shoes from Amazon but i am unsure if they are suitable for running on the pavement or treadmill.
I am new to running, well i have not started yet but was wondering if i need some different trainers?
Hope you are all doing ok with your running!

Trail shoes are generally a bit more neutral in style, but have grippy lugged soles.
In general terms using a trail shoe on the pavement will lead to more wear on the sole, and you'll have a reasonably uncomfortable ride as you'll feel the soles because of the lugs.
For comparison:
My road shoes are these - http://www.sportsshoes.com/product/sau2235/saucony-hurricane-16-running-shoes/
They're a supportive shoe with a reasonably low heel to toe drop, so quite a comfortable ride for long distances, though they're a little heavy.

Neutral, very limited cushioning, minimal heel to toe drop. That gives me a lot more control on a trail.0
