I remember someone posted awhile ago about whether anyone had seen anything against the Paleo diet that had scientific information, etc. At any rate, here's an article from Salon that was an interesting perspective:

Seems like more parroting of the same strawman arguments.
No, Salon, those of us not in rural areas don't eat capybara, or sealion, or whatever. Last I checked, the Inuit don't eat capybara, either, and the Hiwi don't eat seal. Stop getting hung up on the details of exactly which animal we're getting our meat from, and stop saying that we're trying to exactly reproduce the diet ancient humans ate.
