Ok- so I have a protein rich diet. I guess safe to say I am always over what MFP says I should eat in protein. Well I am always over my salt intake too.
Does anyone here follow MFP outside of calorie intake? I am wondering if my loss would improve if I cut down on protein and adjust my diet in other areas as well.

my personal trainer/nutritionist has actually upped both my calories (from about 1650 to 2650 and I think she's hoping in time I might up my calories again so she can continue to work my butt off) and my protein (aiming for around 200g) levels to a point where I've yet to actually go over the protein even when i try.
I wouldn't worry too much if you're over on protein just so long as you're still eating a semi balanced diet.
Feel free to add me as a friend as I track all my food.0 -
I changed the goals that MFP set for me to up the protein levels. I do 50% carbs, 30% protein, and 20% fat. This makes my protein 142g. This is the ratio that was recommended for me, so thats what I go by.0
