I got a great deal on these but have never made them before. Any suggestions?

    @octobubbles That sounds pretty good and simple. Have you made it? What kind of end taste does the sauce have - seems like maybe a cross between Asian and almost but not quite BBQ? Do you ever sear/brown them first on all sides? Or use a dry rub? I don't want to be all disappointed in them... That happened with the last slow cooker recipe I used...

    I haven't made this one, no. I suspect it would lean toward the bbq side of flavor thanks to the vinegar and tomato sauce. You could even try a little black strap unsulphured molasses to increase the effect (and the potassium). Depends on how many carbs you want.

    I do think searing lightly would be a good plan. Any meat I cook like this and don't sear tends to disappoint.
