Hi all. Well I'm happy to report no friggin play dates today! I have stayed home, made cinnamon toast for breakfast out of tsoureki (Greek Easter sweet bread)--my son loves this cinnamon toast tsoureki!-- and cooked my new favorite dish, mussels linguine, but put some shrimp in as well, for dinner later (it's much better when it's set). Hung with the kids while cooking all day and then let DH take them to tutor. We have all blown our noses bunches today and I'm still enjoying t.o.m.s visit (not!), so I decided to rest at home alone while they're at tutor. It's hard because it's a beautiful day and I'd love a walk, but I'd rather rest now and get better so I can do more later, esp after t.o.m.s gone. I'm sooo ready to feel well, have great weather, have a newly remodeled gym, and get out there again!! Weeeee!

Hope everyone else is getting over colds and headaches and insomnia and leg pain/bruises, etc! :-))

My mom used to makes us cinnamon toast with sugar and butter on it.

So last two nights 5-6 hrs sleep but not bad. Finally starting to live again...lol. By that i mean doing my mini hike, walks and went back to nia dance yesterday.

We accepted offer on house, full price but they wanted washer/dryer and tv's! I figure easier to move and i will get new ones! And we have back up offer if it falls thru.

They are school teachers not retiring till june 15 so asked for long escrow which works for us.

Marla, that's great!!! I mean, wow, that's really great! I guess the real estate market is much improved since 2007, when we sold ours, in the middle of the bubble burst, lol--it took ages to sell. I'm so happy for you, and I hope escrow and closing goes smoothly.
(Btw, butter, sugar, cinnamon is how my mom did it and how I do it...but now with tsoureki, which would probably not be too popular to GReeks that I change their sweet bread, but it's just one of many "expat life hacks" I've learned.)

Congrats on finding a buyer for the house Marla! The washer/dryer I get, but I don't know that I've ever heard of someone asking for the tv's. Are they mounted on the walls?

Hope you start feeling better soon, Sherry! Sounds like you needed an at-home day.

It's been raining & overcast all day here, but the sun is trying to come out now. I just checked my weather app & it's 70F where I live, so I can't wait to go home! Average temp this time of year is mid-40s, so I'm trying to appreciate this week's weather while I can. Supposed to be about 70 again tomorrow (while I'm stuck at work), then 50s over the weekend, then 40s most of next week.

My leg is still sore today, but a little better than yesterday. Or at least I keep telling myself that. Since it's nice I'll likely try to go for a walk as my warm-up before my session with Jason.

Yes all 3 mounted on walls. Surprised me too and we had to take one off the guest room because tv is broken, i left up for looks on hanger. We have small one in kitchen and large screen in living room. I had no idea someone would ask for that. I was more prepared for riding lawn mower or my special order bar stools, they didnt ask for those.
