    I miss running!

So Wednesday I completely crashed. Fever and all other nastiness hit. It started to settle in my chest yesterday and then stayed there. So no workouts for me and I haven't really been tracking much of anything either. Guess that's life though. Excited to get back on track next week though! Went on a dage last night with my hubby and a group of friends and had a good time. But got home and the adrenaline wore off and just crashed again. I have to do childcare this morning, but praying that maybe the kids won't show up. Also not sure how to get grocery shopping in as we have nothing to eat in the house right now. *sigh

Hoping to get a good amount of rest this afternoon. Oldest daughter has early release so I can pick her up while hubbh is still home, and not have to wake everyone up from naps later when hubby is at work just to go pick her up. So there is a silver lining there.

Sherry - hopefully we both start feeling better!

Marla - Yay on such a quick sell on the house so far! Hopefully the closing goes smoothly!

Laura - hope your leg is doing better!

Hope you feel better soon Val.

We are officially in escrow now and appts are starting for inspections.

Last night was first night at home in awhile with weather warmer and NO fans! Yey!

We are going for easy 4 mile hike in this beautiful gorge area on river, suppose to be 70 today, perfect hiking weather. Bringing nuts for chipmunks, binoculars and camera.

Its time for us to destress in nature. We thought about doing trip to where we are moving in a few weeks but after seeing how expensive hotels are in area decided to save the money, and my boss who i had told i would work till end of may said she had plans. I could have quit early but then forget reference for my next part time job!

val, I hope it passes very quickly for you.
Marla, enjoy your hike and the wildlife.

Rest did me a little good, so that I was able to run today, just shy of 6mi. Came home and got dinner in front of my hungry kids and shortly a kid called and wanted to meet up. So we ditched on sons taekwondo and had another freaking play date, to which I showed up still in my running clothes. Oh my, oh my how happy I'll be when Spring Break is over. I've loved it, but I've had enough (probably wouldn't be so tired of it except for being sick, but oh well). Still coughing and sniffing but hoping I can continue running from here on.

    TGIF!
