Hi all, new to this group but not MFP. I've been on and off it for 5 years trying to lose the same weight. Somehow after much research, trying all the diets, eating more, weight training, running, IF, low carb, etc. . . I finally got into the right headspace. I think I'm ready to have friends again after so many false starts I was to embarrassed to do it until now. Feels good to be out in the world again.

Hi, Jessica! Knee surgery in 2011 threw my active (skinny) life a curve ball. I still can't figure out how to exercise with no knee impact. I was a runner, so walking is BOR-ING. I have to get my head in THAT game!

I'm at the point where it's all down to what I eat. And of course how much I eat. You can still stay lean without much exercise, but it's gotta be hard if your used to being active. I like listening to podcasts when I walk. Ever tried Stitcher? It's a great app for them. Plus it gets me away from the house. :|

Hi Jessica! I agree. The types of food, and especially the amount, makes a huge impact on weight. But like you, I'm determined to get back on track and into a healthy lifestyle. It's not easy when bad habits exist but I'm too young minded to be called an old dog so I know I can learn a few new things!
