Maeve Binchy Fans?

I love Maeve Binchy's books. Not just because of the setting (Ireland) but of the hope/happiness of her characters.
Does anyone have any recommendations for other authors?

I read a lot of her books years back. My favorites are The Glass Lake and Evening Class.

Thank you - that is so cool - i have seen things like that before, but this included many of the authors that i have read before and enjoyed. I think this is what i have been looking for.

Yes I also have read a bunch of Maeve Binchy. I try to read any new books that come out.
