    Hi all!

Gotta make this short, because I am wrecked at the moment. Beyond the fact that the strides yesterday did a number on my legs, I also got very little sleep last night, so whT do I do.....go on a freakishly long run like an idiot. Actually the first 8mi went by so fast and easy thT I swear I thought I was only like 4-5mi in and was shocked it was 8 already, so I turned and started back and the next 8 mi were not so pretty. But I remember when I had a similarly ugly run long ago, that was a huuuge 10mi for me at the time. So anyway, it was 16mi and even though it was rough, a year ago 10mi felt that rough... So progress I suppose.

    Have great weekend y'all! <3

I was so loopy yesterday I didn't even remember to post here! Only had two hours sleep from fans the night before and I sat on couch all day like a dead fish! lol

We had surprise birthday dinner out with 3 other couples for a friend and I was super looking forward to it until I got up yesterday feeling like the walking dead.

After a solid day of reading and doing nothing, I went to dinner and talking with friends perked me up a bit, but I went to bed early and even with fans again slept!

I even woke up early and went to Nia, it has been my mental saving grace this month!

One more night tonight of fans, suppose to warm up again tomorrow. Tonight I am going to take a benedryl because I am working 8 1/2 hr days Sunday and Monday and 1/2 day later today. The other girl is off so I am taking her weekend hours.

I will be working for the last time with boss, who can be either nice or a real "B". She is mad I am leaving and taking it out on the other woman, makes me mad. I only offered to stay till end of May because I knew she would give that other woman Karen more hours than she wants. she is older than me 65 and doesn't want to work any long shifts. She is hard worker, used to be a manager, has worked there for 4 yrs and takes over when boss goes on vacation so for her to bring Karen to tears the other day saying, your lucky to have a job! Is the pits!!!

The owner/boss is young 32 and the power of being a boss even to two people has gone to her head. She is lucky to have women who have great experience and great work ethics. When she is nice she can be very generous, gave me a nice xmas bonus and will bring in Starbucks or treat us to dinner. When she is in bad mood she can correct you like you are a piece of dirt or very stupid.

She definitely has a learning curve. My older daughter who is manager of large Honda store over many people has given me advice on how to deal with her. She also has employees who are older than her and we talk about the young/old thing.

Sherry, that's a very ambitious run! And I'm impressed you didn't hop on a bus for a ride home.

Marla, im so jealous of your day/night to yourself to chill. Glad you have some tools to stay cool regardless of boss.

Went for easy 25m walk this morning and feet felt fine. Ran around with toddler, errands and literally in circles at the park, plus unpacking laundry at home and now my feet do hurt :(

Survived last time working with boss. I was restocking and she corrected me in front of customers for not greeting one lady who i didnt see coming in after i had greeted about 50 other people. After her lecture i said GOT IT! And wasnt my usual submissive, she got quiet for long time then was nice rest of day.
