After several months here, I finally clicked on that star to the right of a thread title. In the main discussion boards, that thread now shows up in my bookmarks. But not for the threads in this discussion board.
Does the bookmark feature work in the groups?

No, it doesn't. It's supposed to be something they're going to implement, but it hasn't happened yet.0

Ah, thanks, DW. The star does glow a pretty yellow though.0

Tagging people with the @ sign doesn't work in groups right now, either.0

In the main forums you get a notification that it happened. Here it just makes a pretty blue word that does nothing.0

And on our own personal home pages? I know typing @someone makes it blue, but *should* it notify us? I wish it would.0

This the only forum that I use that does not let me follow discussions that I post in. It is an accident if I ever see a reply to any of the thread on MFP.0

They changed it because they changed the underlying forum system. They're supposed to be (re)implementing more stuff (like the "ignore user" option), but apparently their roadmap doesn't really line up with our expectations.0 -
It only works in the main forums from what I've seen. I feel bad, because a few times in here I've gotten back to a thread days later and see someone asked me a question directly with the @ and I had no idea. Out in the litter box, any time you use the @, the person you tag immediately gets a notification with a link to the post.
