carbs and net carbs... counting carbs

when counting carbs...
do I count the net carbs or carbs?
how do I find the net carbs if there not on the package?

    Carbs is what it lists as carbs.

    If you're in the US, net carbs = carbs - fiber

    In the USA the carbs listed on packages are total carbs. Fiber which is a carb is listed seperately. Net carbs are total carbs minus fiber. In other countries carbs listed are net carbs not total.

    Net carbs or total carbs is purely personal preference. For me 30 net 20 takes me out of Ketosis but total 20... Keeps me in ketosis. So the fiber does have a carb effect... Remember YMMV
