More friends and pinterest

I have been on here a couple of years but 6 weeks ago have really got serious again about losing weight. I need more great friends for support and for me to give it too.
A little about my history- almost 40, female and have yoyo dieted for years- result overweight and was resistant to losing weight. 6 weeks ago got into ketosis quite easily but then stalled after losing 5 pounds. I experimented for a number of weeks to find my magic zone so to speak. I tried unlimited calories and fat, then tried 1600 calories, reduced dairy and coffee intake.
I have found what works for me which is 1100-1400 calories and 5% carbs 25% protein and 70% fat. My diary is open. Also green tea 3-4 times a day and cayenne pepper on everything helps.
I am doing the Tae bo PT 24/7 with Billy Blanks according to its calendar (which is 5-6 times a week for 30 mins). I will be adding yoga to my regime soon.
I'm a chocoholic so have found ways of incorporating a small amount of 100% chocolate or cocoa into my diet. I could not give that up but am avoiding nuts and limiting dairy.
I am following the rules pretty much as stated here http://www.wickedstuffed.com/keto-tips/basic-keto-diet-plan/
I find pinterest brilliant for finding recipes and information. Feel free to look at my profile https://uk.pinterest.com/samko1976/
If you are on pinterest you may want to add it to this comment thread for everyone to find.
Please add me if interested I'll do the same .

Welcome!
I also do Pinterest. Most of my boards are Keto foods, feel free to check it out! Keto/LCHF food, desserts, drinks, condiments, bento box recipes, etc.
You are free to ignore the Bento/Geek/Purple stuff if you want0 -
Thanks Alliwan. I love the Bento/Geek/Purple stuff too!0

Me too! It's the one habit I couldn't break. I break off a 100% chocolate "spoon" from a bar and use it to scoop some peanut butter out of the jar. Mmmmm. Only once or twice. Or maybe three times a day.

So glad you have found your "zone!" Finding what works for you is the first part of the process and can be frustrating. Good for you!0

Thanks it was really frustrating for about a month. Glad I persisted ( it really helped having good support on here for inspiration!) and stayed in keto while trying the other macro levels.0

I'm new to lchf also. Good results so far, and pinterest has been a godsend. If I'd had it before when I tried lchf I might've had better results and stuck with it.0

I agree- so many new clever low carb recipes that I was not aware of when I originally did LCHF. eg. zoodles, cauliflower mash. I need to organize my pin boards but have had fun trying out recipes!0
