short daily workouts vs 3/4x a week?

which are more effective, do you think? for fat loss, conditioning, strength?

at the moment, I workout with kettlebells 3-4x a week, each workout lasting 40mins but am considering doing shorter, more intensive 20 min workouts 5-6x a week.

what would you recommend?
