May Goals!

It's the first of the month, no better time to reassess your goals, get back in track if, like me, you lost track at the end of the last month and to look back on how good you did the month before! So post your may goals here and 1 thing you did really well last month and 1 thing that you didn't do so well that you want to improve on this month
My May Goals
-Continue following fitnessblender's 8 week workout plan for busy people
-Lose 4lbs
-Start walking on the weekends and in the evenings when I'm on the morning shift.
What I did well
-I've done all the workouts of the workout program I'm following so I'm really proud of that
What I can improve on
-I didn't do to well staying within my calorie goals. So this month I'm going to be a lot stricter and focus on planning my meals a day in advance so there's no last minute quick meals that bring me over my calories!

Great idea. Wonderful job of completing all your workouts - you must be getting strong! I like your goals - very achievable.
My May Goals- Lose 5 pounds
- Run 80 miles
- I stuck to my calories for the most part and didn't miss a scheduled run
This month I will be very busy so my challenge will be using my time wisely. I won't have as much time to prepare my breakfast and lunch so I will need to plan and buy things that are quick and easy and within my calorie budget. I also need to choose a priority and stick with it. It worked out in the end, but maybe I would have had better success if I'd just stuck with running instead of trying to fit in an additional time-intensive weight program.0 -

This is awesome! That is the biggest challenge I think. Congrats on April's success! I always see you are losing, but it's great to see how it is adding up.

My May Goals
- Lose 4 lbs
- Increase my daily steps from 6,000 to 10,000
- Keep within my daily calorie goal without eating my cardio calories
- Vary my Cardio and resist the temptation to eat the calories gained
What I did well- Kept within my daily calorie goal
- Increased my steps. This was easier once I got my Fitbit
- Lost inches as well as lbs
- Got into clothes that I haven't worn in years
What I can improve on- Work on improving carbs/protein/fats balance to assist weight loss, especially the fat component
- Increase my daily steps
- Introduce more variety into my exercise programme
