Have finally pushed myself and April made me realize how doable this challenge is!
For May, my goals are: no days under 3 miles, 15 days at 5 or more miles, and a total of 135 for the month.
May 1st: 6.28 miles! (1/15)0 -
109 miles for April, just short of my 120...
May goals will be 120 miles, 20 days over 10000 steps.0 -
You guys, it looks like changed the name of our group...just noticed it...I came from a place where there was always a 100 mile a month challenge...and I reverted back to it...will change it to whatever you want. And I did not put any directions or motivation jazzy talk...I just went for it.

I think the title of the discussion is what you're seeing. The group name is good...I think. Lol I'm not super observant, but went to the same group I always do.

Well I think everyone is doing good no matter what the name is and no matter what the challenge for yourself is. Thank you Magic for setting it up for us. This month I am going to set my goal at 200 miles again.

You guys are so sweet....thanks. So I work as a guest services rep at the mall...a gentleman I talked to the other day told me his wife puts her fit bit in her pocked when she is walking her granddaughter cuz the little one holds her left hand.
I used to attach it to my shoe (I have the fit bit flex) when walking the dog...for that reason...my left arm does not swing when holding the leash. Man, why didn't I think of that...most of my shorts (always in shorts, in Phoenix)...have pockets...so I just pop the fit bit in there...and when you go to Costco...I am holding the cart...or shopping in general...don't want to miss out on steps.
I use the total for the day.

Yesterday was a struggle. I had an ankle reconstruction 3 1/2 years ago and it still hurts from time to time. Yesterday was excruciating. Still managed to hit my 3 miles. It was right before bed, but I hit it.
7th - 3.11 = 30.16 (3/15 at 5 or more) A little behind for my goal, but plenty of time to go.0 -
Slow start this month, I plan to try the Fitbit ChargeHR again, maybe that will motivate me to move more.
