Goals for May

Hi ladies! I thought it would be nice to share our goals for the month. I'll start and hope this inspires others to share.

My goals for May include:

1. Maintain my calorie goal of 1400-1500 per day of good nutritional choices.
2. Exercise 6 days per week including a mix of cardio, strength and flexibility.
3. Clean out my closets and get rid of any clothes that are now too large.
4. Join our local YMCA so I can use the community pool and get back to swimming and aquasize.
5. Continue supporting and motivating my friends to make healthy choices.

    Keeping it simple for May.

    1. Planning
    2. Exercise

    I've developed much better habits this year, but for consistency and to reduce those "oops" moments, I'm focusing on better planning for meals, exercise, and life in general this month. The first goal, "Planning", should help take care of executing the second goal, "Exercise". So for the month of May, it's back to basics.

    My goals:
    1) plan meals and log food
    2) adding an extra 15 minutes of walking in the morning or at lunch
    3) resistance training 3 days a week
    4) 60 minutes of power walking up from 45 3x per week

    I will try to do the following goals:
    1. Log food
    2. Daily cardio exercise for at least 10 min.
    3. At least one type of resistance exercise per day.
    These are my goals hopefully I will try to do most of them daily.
