Torani in your coffee?

While shopping for groceries this weekend I spotted a product called Torani syrup in the coffee aisle. It's sugar free but I think it's sweetened with Splenda. Does anyone use this in their coffee? If so, has it had any effect on your progress? I'm currently using stevia and half-and-half until the half-and-half runs out. I know about bullet proof coffee now and plan on trying that out, too. My only concern with bpc is that it may not be sweet enough for my taste. But I'm willing to give it a try. Any thoughts on Torani?

I've used it since about November of last year. I've still lost weight. It also has acesulfame K as a sweetener in addition to the sucralose. Some flavors have as much as 1g carbs. I use the SF chocolate. 2TBSP is the serving and it is plenty sweet enough. Low-carb diets resensitize your sweet senses. So over time things taste more sweet to you.
The issue with artificial sweeteners is that they may cause an insulin response in some people, which may stall them. You'll just have to keep everything else in your diet constant and experiment to see if sucralose (Splenda) and ace K personally stall you.0 -

Exactly this.... I use it occasionally... Does not seem to have an effect on me. That being said...YMMV0 -
I use it daily. I am only 1 week into LC so I am not sure if it's affecting me or not... Sugar Free Salted Caramel FTW!0

Thanks for the info! ! It just looked so delightful. I want to try it but I don't want to screw myself over. If I used that, I wouldn't need the stevia. Is that correct? I mean. ..I just switched recently from using about 6 packs of sugar to 4 packs of stevia. So I do like my coffee sweet. It will be sweet enough without the stevia?0

Sugar free "torani" is basically what you get when you order anything flavored and skinny/sugar free at Starbucks, Caribou or your local coffee shops.0

I'm totally going to try this stuff, I love chocolate in my ice coffee, I didn't realize I could buy the syrups and to it myself, I've just been drinking it black.0

My coffee is either salted caramel or hazelnut (or sometimes, both). No bad effects, aside from putting me in a bad mood if I'm out.0

I personally try to avoid anything with artificial sweeteners (says the lady who had Diet Coke twice this weekend) because of the side effects I've gotten with them for years: tension headache, clenched jaw, etc. As far as stalling weight loss, I have no idea.0

If you don't do well with those, you might check out the flavored stevia liquid sweeteners. They taste marvelous as long as I don't put in too much, but some people think they have a bitter aftertaste no matter how much they put in.0

Yes. You won't need the stevia in there, too. It will be sweet enough with just the Torani.0 -
